I. Purpose of the Course
The purpose of real estate math #0611 is to provide students with the understanding and knowledge of basic real estate math concepts, to allow students to use formulas to set up math problems where they will have success in working the math. This course will also allow students who have difficulty or are weak in math skills the benefit of having time to repeat the math problems until they gain confidence and skill in the subject.

II. Relevance of the Course
Understanding general math concepts and math vocabulary these 'agents' will be faced with in dealing with buyers and sellers is very important to the agent's success in real estate and will make them more competent agents in the real estate business.

III. Course Content Summary
The course content includes math definitions, measurement and units of measure, measurement conversion, decimals, percentages, fractions, area and volume, discount points, income and net to owner, percentage leases, appreciation-depreciation problems and prorations.
